Communications Team Support

Confidential Portland, Oregon

The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and ready to sweat the big stuff and the small stuff. Duties include but are not limited to: Client Service and Team Support (50%): SaaS Support: \\- Help clients with day-to-day requests and administration of sites-as-a- service programs \\- Client Engagement and Member Support: Monitor and address requests and notifications from membership and vendors, and disseminate to team Project Management: \\- Shepherd Board and Trust Meeting Packets through team process for timely distribution to Board of Directors \\- Process, track, and coordinate ongoing grant and scholarship programs \\- Assist in maintaining client database, mailing lists, and other information \\- Organize and distribute monthly team meeting material Program and Services Communications Support (25%): Content Generation: Write articles based on research of external and internal data, and conduct interviews of clients, experts, and members for marketing research and program development Proofing and Editing: Ensure details, grammar, spelling, and accuracy of content including articles, reports, memos, emails, letters, whitepapers, presentations, and flyers Digital Communications: Assist in maintenance and content creation for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media Events Management: Coordinate event details, send marketing materials and swag, and support webinars and event registrants Graphic Design: \\- Assist with creation of magazines, booklets, flyers, whitepapers, presentations, banners, and advertisements \\- Review content and coordinate updated information for several related websites \\- Develop use of utilization reports and other marketing communications to prospective and current members Document Control (25%): \\- Coordinate the development, review, editing, and finalizing of memos and reports to the Board of Directors \\- Ensure quality control of all outgoing communication \\- Assist with scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks \\- Organize and track team developed written processes and procedures \\- Periodic review of web sites for updates as needed Qualifications: \\- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field \\- Exceptional writing and editing ability \\- An extremely strong attention to detail \\- A high level of organization \\- The ability to maintain and enforce style and formatting guidelines throughout documents \\- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) and Adobe Acrobat \\- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) a plus \\- Fluency with HTML, CSS, Wordpress, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Audition all a plus About McGriff: Nationally McGriff Seibels and Williams is a leader in the insurance consulting industry.
