Contract Motion Graphics Designer

We are on the lookout for a talented Contract Motion Graphics Designer to enhance our creative team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of conceptualizing and producing high-fidelity motion graphics that integrate seamlessly with both traditional 2D designs and immersive 3D broadcast settings.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of production experience in broadcast, commercials, or live events, showcasing a proven ability to design and animate intricate motion graphics under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development: Create and deliver high-quality graphic elements and integrated components customized for a 3D XR broadcast studio environment.Multidimensional Animation: Expertly navigate between 3D and 2D applications to craft fluid animations for transitions, on-air toolkits, and comprehensive broadcast packages.End-to-End Ownership: Manage projects from initial concept and style frames to final delivery and implementation with full accountability.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our Asset Lead and VFX Supervisor to ensure that animation projects meet the overarching visual goals and technical requirements of the production.Visual Storytelling: Transform complex creative briefs into visually compelling narratives, ensuring all assets adhere to platform-specific best practices and broadcast standards.Requirements:

5+ years of experience in motion graphics design and animation, VFX, and compositing, with a portfolio displaying mastery of timing, design, and layout.Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is essential. Ability to maintain organized project files for ease of navigation by team members.Production Agility: A creative and technically proficient designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can adapt quickly to changing creative directions.Workflow Optimization: Expertise in creating and utilizing smart templates, toolkits, and MOGRTs to enhance the production process for internal teams or clients.Aesthetic Eye: A strong design sensibility, emphasizing typography, color theory, and spatial awareness within a 3D space.Good to Have:

3D Proficiency: Valuable experience with Cinema 4D (C4D) or Houdini.Real-time Engines: Familiarity with Unreal Engine and the Virtual Art Department (VAD) workflow is a plus.A passion for sports broadcasting or live event technology.Experience in compositing CG render passes along with a solid understanding of broadcast standards.Additional Information:

CA Pay Transparency Information:

The expected annual base pay range for this position is detailed below. Compensation varies based on skills, competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, most employees are eligible for benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

Base Pay Range: $60-75 / hour
