Works as a member of the Creative Marketing team in the Division of Enrollment Management (EM). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Ability to work within established brand guidelines • Working knowledge and understanding of MAC operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite • Working knowledge of best practices in print and digital communication • Possess strong self-discipline and motivation • Proven written and verbal communication skills • Must have the ability to learn, be flexible to change, and be innovative • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels with a variety of backgrounds • Ability to lead and manage projects with varying degrees of complexity and involvement, prioritizing tasks appropriately • Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Possess strong self-discipline and motivation • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to exercise good judgment and handle diverse and difficult situations with confidence, motivation, and flexibility • Possess and demonstrate a personal commitment to excellence and efficiency, and a passion to serve future and current Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • This position will work on creative that is applied across various channels, experience working deeply in one of these categories or some basic knowledge across all three would be beneficial: o Knowledge of video and photography production (including shooting, editing, retouching) • Knowledge of university style and communications standards • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, Lightroom) • Sound knowledge of and experience with Slate CRM system and Asana project management system • Understanding of higher education priorities, processes, and workflo • Experience with project management and data reporting systems The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is the state of Tennessee's flagship university and is classified as a Carnegie Research 1 institution.
