Coordinator, Part-Time The Friends of Manito The Friends of Manito is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which supports Manito Park – one of the top public parks in the U.S. The Friends of Manito (TFM) was founded in 1990 to conduct fundraising, volunteer, and educational activities to support efforts to improve and preserve the park in in partnership with the Spokane Department of Parks & Recreation. We have a large and active membership, which supports our mission through donations and by volunteering time and energy to our events such as our monthly lecture series, our semi-annual Plant Sale and December’s Holiday Lights. TFM’s programs and events promote the community’s use, appreciation and enjoyment of Manito Park. The Position The Coordinator is responsible for the smooth day-to-day administrative functioning of TFM.
