Within agency policies and protocols, under the direction of the Public Information Officer/Communication Coordinator, the incumbent supports strategic communication projects related to the COVID-19 pandemic and assists with the District’s COVID-19 education and community outreach activities. As COVID response work is conducted seven days a week, weekend work may be assigned. • Assists in the analysis of public understanding of District’s COVID-19 activities to determine needed public information and educational activities to improve public health and/or enhance awareness. • Duties require carrying a cell phone or other electronic device as well as being available to work as needed to meet District needs, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. • May be required to stay at or return to work during public health incidents and/or emergencies to perform duties specific to this classification or to perform other duties as requested in an assigned response position.Create an account to see the full posting, access our search engine, and more.
