We are looking for a very crafty, multi-faceted studio assistant to help in Hudson, NY. Great for a very crafty person, an art student, or recent art school grad. Job duties would change depending on what is going on and skillset but should be expected to include a variety of tasks ranging from creative duties (embroidering, dying, making jewelry, screen printing, etc.) Requirements: • Crafty – you enjoy working with your hands & making things – this could range from screen printing, dying fabric to embroidery to making jewelry (assembly/manipulation/stamping) • Great energy and attitude – no job too big, no job too small attitude • Self-starter with ability to work well independently as well as with others • Creative, inspired, and passionate – must be able to collaborate & brainstorm new ideas • Must be ok w/small, friendly dogs Pluses (lmk in your email which, if any, apply to you! • Photography and/or Retouching skills • Design skills • Sewing skills • Trend savvy • Enrolled in an art or design school (or recent grad) with an applicable major RATE: Hourly rate $14-$16 per hour depending on experience HOURS: Depends on skillset – probably 1 day per week - 6 - 8 hours To apply, please email the following - • Overview of your skillset, especially if not captured on your resume • Link to portfolio if applicable • Link to insta &/or additional pics showing relevant work • Schedule availability • A little about yourself!
