Creative Studio Associate

About Us

Make It Pop Studios is a vibrant creative space in Manchester, NH where art, design, community, and entrepreneurship come together. Our studio includes an art café, creative workshops, pop-up events, podcasting, and retail experiences. We believe good things come to those that create, and we are building a community where people can gather, learn, and bring ideas to life.

We are looking for creative, energetic in early-career person who want hands-on experience in the world of events to help guide through events, creative production and managing a small team.

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates, or anyone with a passion for creativity and community experiences.

Position Overview

Responsibilities:

Event Support

• Help plan and prepare creative workshops and community events

• Set up tables, materials, and creative stations

• Assist with guest check-in and customer experience during events

• Help reset and organize the studio after events

Retail & Café Experience

• Assist customers with art kit purchases and retail items

• Operate point-of-sale system

• Keep retail displays and creative areas organized and visually appealing

Studio Operations

• Maintain a welcoming and creative environment

• Help keep studio spaces clean, organized, and inspiring

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (Art, Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, Business, or related field preferred)

• Passion for creativity, design, art, or community events

• Friendly, positive personality and strong people skills

• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to jump in wherever help is needed

Bonus Skills (not required):

• Event planning experience

• Graphic design or photography skills

• Retail or café experience

Schedule

• Part-time (10–30 hours per week depending on availability)

• Evenings (Thursday, Friday, Saturday for events) but on a rotational schedule

Compensation

• Paid hourly $15.00
