Creative Design Intern

The Baltimore Sun is seeking a Creative Design Intern to join our Marketing team this summer. This part-time role is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with flexible scheduling. In this position, you will contribute to meaningful projects, participate in cross-functional collaboration, and gain valuable exposure to how a media organization operates. Develop graphics for social media, print publications, website content, and podcasts Assist with advertising client creative and branded content projects Collaborate with marketing, newsroom, and advertising teams to bring ideas to life Participate in team meetings and contribute creative concepts and feedback Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Hands-on experience creating real-world marketing and media assets Exposure to multiple teams across a dynamic media organization Opportunity to contribute to impactful campaigns and projects Professional development and mentorship from experienced team members Portfolio-building work that demonstrates a wide range of skills
