CHOP recognizes the critical importance of a workforce rich in varied backgrounds and experiences and engages in ongoing efforts to achieve that through equally varied and non-discriminatory means.A Brief OverviewLeveraging graphic arts and technical skills, the Creative Designer/Developer is responsible for the design and development of effective print, web, video, and interactive multimedia solutions for training, education, and communication initiatives.What you will doWork with senior team members and clients on the following:Design blended learning solutions using a variety of techniques and media assets.o In partnership with senior staff, design, develop, and implement advanced learning projects that provide performance/accomplishment based skills training.o Produce deliverables for instructor led training, traditional eLearning, mobile and web based education.Photography and photo editingo Equipment setup and maintenance, production, post-production, and archiving.Audio and video production and post-productiono Assist Subject Matter Expert (SME) with storyboard development, participate in production on-site and organize storage of assets.o Author motion graphics, using artwork and advanced design adaptation for all types of multimedia communication and education.o Under the direction of senior staff complete post-production process for final deliverables.Create designs for various print and online materials.o Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that adhere to brand and departmental standards.o Produce 2D and 3D animations for communication and education.o Draft initial graphic concepts through to final deliverables.o Develop interface and responsive design wireframes and mockups.o Use SharePoint and other content management systems to launch/deploy designs.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree Computer Art or equivalent in graphic or web design, visual communication, or instructional design related field - RequiredBachelor's Degree - PreferredExperience QualificationsAt least two (2) years experience - RequiredeLearning software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) - Preferred3D graphics applications (Cinema 4D, Maya ) - PreferredAudio and Video production and editing using Adobe applications - PreferredSkills and AbilitiesProficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.…)A solid understanding of design, color and typography principlesCompetency in Adobe After Effects or other motion graphic software (Preferred proficiency)Photo retouching/manipulation (Preferred proficiency)To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
