Creative Media Designer – AEM & Graphic Design
We are seeking a versatile Creative Media Designer to support a leading medical device organization in Mounds View, Minnesota. This role blends web and digital design within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with traditional graphic design across print, digital, social, and marketing communications.
The position is approximately 60% web design and digital content development using Adobe Experience Manager and 40% traditional graphic design. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both digital and traditional channels and can produce polished, brand-consistent creative within an established enterprise environment.
This is a hybrid opportunity requiring three days per week onsite in Mounds View, MN.
What You’ll Do
Web & Digital Design – Approximately 60%
Design and build engaging web and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).Create and update web content while ensuring consistency with established brand and design standards.Translate marketing objectives and creative direction into effective digital experiences.Work with imagery, typography, layout, and digital assets to create clean, engaging web content.Partner with digital specialists, project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to execute web initiatives.Ensure digital content is accurate, organized, visually consistent, and delivered on schedule.Manage and organize web-based assets and content within established workflows.Graphic Design – Approximately 40%
Develop high-quality creative assets across print, digital, social media, presentations, and other marketing channels.Create visually compelling work using strong design principles including layout, typography, color, imagery, and visual hierarchy.Produce brand-right marketing materials from concept through final execution.Work within established brand guidelines while maintaining a high level of creative quality.Support video, animation, and motion graphics projects as needed.Participate in project kickoff meetings, brainstorms, and creative reviews.Project & Workflow Management
Manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced internal creative environment.Own assigned creative work from initial direction through final production.Collaborate closely with project managers to keep projects moving through established workflows.Organize, maintain, and archive creative files and branded assets.Incorporate stakeholder and Art Director feedback accurately and efficiently.Maintain strong attention to detail throughout design, review, proofing, and production.
Team Environment
You will join a collaborative creative organization of approximately 40 team members, including graphic designers, project managers, digital specialists, and proofreaders.
The team works closely across disciplines to deliver high-quality creative and digital content while maintaining brand, legal, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related creative discipline.2+ years of professional experience within an advertising agency, internal creative department, or similar environment.Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a comparable enterprise content management platform.Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:InDesignIllustratorPhotoshopStrong understanding of web and digital design principles.Strong graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color theory, imagery, and visual hierarchy.Experience creating within established brand and style guidelines.Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and collaboration skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Additional Preferred Experience
Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro.Experience with video editing, animation, or motion graphics.Experience within medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or another highly regulated industry.Experience with Workfront or similar project management software.Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive, and cloud-based asset management tools.Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Hybrid: Three days per week onsiteLocation: Mounds View, MinnesotaTypical hours: Approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is not solely a traditional graphic designer. You are comfortable moving between AEM/web content production and hands-on graphic design, understand how to work within an established brand system, and can manage a steady flow of projects in a collaborative enterprise creative environment.
You bring strong visual design fundamentals, digital fluency, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn complex products and subject matter.
