Creative Services Coordinator

Overview
The Fresno Grizzlies are looking for a creative, highly motivated, proactive, and passionate graphic designer to join the marketing department. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and have a primary focus on design work, with video and photo content creation also expected. To succeed in this role, applicants must have a passion for design and content creation as well as a drive to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. This position pays $17.40 to $20.00 per hour. This role is initially part-time, with the potential for full-time depending on business needs and individual performance. Job DutiesWork directly with the Director of Marketing & Communications on overall design direction and content curation for the organization’s marketing efforts.Serve as the organization’s primary graphic designer across all platforms.Design and produce digital and printed content, including but not limited to: graphics, flyers, motion graphics, in-game slides, and overall branding.Shoot and edit short-form video content, primarily Reel and TikTok style content, for the organization’s social media accounts.Photography and video capture at select home games, events, and staged shoots as assigned. Work closely with the Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator and the Media Relations Manager to deliver content needs across departments.Assist in all advertising effortsOther duties as assigned.
RequirementsProficient in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorWorking knowledge of InDesign, Lightroom, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, or the ability to learn quickly. Additional photo and video editing tools are a plusMust submit a portfolio of design work in accordance with the instructions belowMust be proactive and a self-starterKnowledge of current social and digital media trends and specificationsAbility to interpret and utilize brand standardsAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentMust be at least 18 years oldMust have strong communication skillsMust be reliable and exhibit a commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements.
Applicants must submit 3 or more samples of work with at least 2 being graphics the applicant has designed in Photoshop, Illustrator, or a comparable professional-grade design program. The remaining sample is the applicant’s choice and can be any other file relevant to this position.
