Creative Visual Artist

About this role: We are seeking a Graphic Design Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality graphics for programs and projects, ensuring that all artwork meets project specifications and adheres to universal design principles. Main Responsibilities: • Assess requests for graphics and respond to inquiries from staff • Provide clear production updates to the Project Lead and Supervisor on current workflow, including volume, estimations for task completion, and issues impacting completion duration • Communicate with Content teams to discuss queries of Art production and provide guidance on art style, layout, and design • Evaluate newly created art against art requests to check for quality and accuracy • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall department efficiency Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Commercial Art, or Graphics Arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • Minimum one year of graphic design experience • Working knowledge of latest versions of graphics software, including Photoshop and Illustrator • Understanding of tools and techniques used to create and manipulate various types of artwork • Knowledge of typography, graphic design, color theory, printing, and information design • Ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
