Mower is hiring a Graphic Designer to join our team in Syracuse or Buffalo. The ideal candidate will create electronic files, edit and manage page layouts under the direction of Art Directors while working independently on select projects. We're looking for an individual who is hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic about graphic design. Requirements include: • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in graphic design • Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS5 and CS6 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) • Basic Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS coding skills • Digital publishing experience • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint • MAC Environment (OS X) expertise • Server, network, webDAV, FTP site management • Software troubleshooting • Understanding of color, composition, typography, general design principles • Technical project management skills • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Efficiency, meeting deadlines, juggling multiple projects Additional Skills: • Traditional publishing • Working with various servers networks • Familiarity with web development languages
