RESPONSIBILITIES: \\- Completes preparation of food based on our QC standards + guidelines \\- Complete food prep lists for daily service + catered events \\- Organizes prep lists based on hold time, event dates, food menu pars and daily needs \\- Fulfills prep for in-house baked goods and dessert program \\- Works autonomously in the kitchen prior to evening service, cleaning up and preparing space for evening service prior to end of shift \\- Ensures consistency of dishes + sets standards for quality control by constantly tasting prep recipes \\- Adhere to the cleaning schedule for the kitchen \\- Maintaining stock rotation when taking in deliveries + prepping food \\- Understanding the functions of the restaurant as it relates to the position, i.e., QC procedures, stations, table numbers, food labeling etc. \\- Cool under pressure. \\- Incredibly detail oriented when prepping and plating food \\- Flexibility in your job with the ability to cross train and multitask. Requirements: \\- 2+ year previous experience in a related position (school experience will be considered). \\- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
