Create design proofs that accurately reflect customer requirements and best practices Produce art files for printing and manufacturing Develop an optimal way to produce signs based on knowledge of materials Operate shop equipment such as large format printer, laminator, digital cutter and panel saw according to specifications and in accordance with company instructions and procedures Review job board and prepare daily production, printing, and materials ordering plan according to customer and sales priorities Maintain printer and machinery in good working condition and according to manufacturer recommendation Greet customers and answer phones in a professional and knowledgeable manner Accurately capture customer requirements, contact information to produce price estimates and invoices Complete projects in a timely manner and follow up with customers as needed Assist in operating and managing the store when needed Travel to different locations within the community to preview work areas, give estimates and install various types of signs, as needed Apply vehicle and window graphics. · 2+ years of sign shop experience · Portfolio of professional design projects, ideally in sign field Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, such as place and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack
