The Design Assistant gains exposure to workflows and begins building skills in layout, file management, and design software through observation and hands-on practice. 0–1 year of experience in graphic design, production design, or related support workCoursework or training in design, photography, publishing, or digital media preferredPortfolio or sample projects demonstrating accuracy, consistency, and potential to grow preferredFamiliarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator preferredBasic understanding of visual organization, file management, and formatting tools An applicant for a position in the Bob Jones University group — Bob Jones University, Bob Jones Academy or BJU Press — must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
