OSKLO is seeking a highly organized and motivated Design Assistant / Junior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience in an interior design firm, furniture production environment, or related design field who is eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced studio.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing administrative, production, and design support responsibilities. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist with furniture production orders and vendor coordinationCreate proposals, purchase orders, and client/vendor documentationCoordinate local pickups and schedule domestic and international deliveriesCommunicate order updates and timelines with clients throughout the production processFollow up with vendors regarding lead times, production updates, and shipmentsAssist with shipping and organizing finish and material samplesMaintain and update project schedules, order trackers, and internal spreadsheetsSupport the design team with client presentations and presentation materialsAssist with minor 2D and 3D drawings as neededSupport day-to-day studio operations and administrative tasks

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in interior design, furniture production, or a related fieldStrong organizational and multitasking skillsFamiliarity with fabric, finishes, and material specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and take direction in a team environmentPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail

Preferred Software Experience

Google Suite / Google SheetsAdobe Creative SuiteAutoCADRhinoSketchUpStudio Designer (preferred but not required)
