This is an excellent opportunity to be a contributing member of collaborative project teams where you can grow your career working with leading architects.You will work closely with project leaders and interdisciplinary design teams to develop design concepts into presentation materials and construction documentation. We strive to give our employees the opportunities to explore multiple specializations and fields of interest to progress in their careers.Requirements3+ years of experience in an architecture design firmBachelors degree in Architecture or related fieldFoundational understanding of technical aspects of architecture practice including construction documentation, building science, sustainability, building code, zoning and planningWorking knowledge of current and historic construction methodologies (wood frame, mass timber, steel, and concrete)Intermediate to advanced level Revit user with beneficial knowledge of SketchupProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc. )Must be able to work full-time in-person at Springfield, MA office.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - we are not currently able to offer positions to candidates that will require visa sponsorship now or in the future.ResponsibilitiesConcept development (diagrams, renderings and informational graphics) for early design phases for client presentationsDeveloping project design and documentation through layout and development of floor plans, sections, and elevations under the guidance of project architects.Researching products and materials for project useConstruction administration project support, which includes answering questions from contractors (RFIs) and developing supplemental construction sketches (ASIs) all under the direction of the Project Architect.Health and dental coverage with employer contributionProfit sharing401k retirement plan + employer contributionEmployee stock ownership programIn-house continuing education opportunitiesYearly educational allowanceWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Dietz & Company Architects is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion within our firm.#J-18808-Ljbffr
