Chad Hinke Interior Design is a West Seattle based Residential Interior Design Firm seeking a full time or part-time Design Coordinator. This team member will mostly be working in Administrative Support and Design project assistance. This team member needs to fit seamlessly into our fun, hardworking, and talented company culture as well as display a professionalism to our clients and vendors. Experience in closely related fields such as Architecture, Graphic Design, etc is permissible. Location: West Seattle, Alaska Junction Part Time: 3-4 days/week (24-32 flexible hours) Full Time: 40 hours $20/hour This position is responsible for, but not limited to... • Administrative management • Coordination of ordering and invoicing of items for clients • Management of vendor accounts and communications with manufacturers and reps • Assistance in managing day-to-day operations pertaining to daily meetings, planning and operational tasks such as payment tracking and daily task coordination • Updating various social media platforms • Managing website updates • Assisting with new hire on-boarding • Working closely with the Principal and other designers on project coordination and design elements • Working on both PC and Mac platforms for business operations such as creating presentations and the input of business operational details • Assisting with out-of-office coordination and tasks when needed • Communication with contractors and subcontractors about project details Requirements: • a valid drivers license and a car • Working knowledge and interest in interior design or a closely related filed • Basic to intermediate Design software skills in AutoCad and Sketchup (Bonus if knowledgable of Chief Architecture, Studio Designer, and Homestyler) • Intermediate knowledge of Mac OS and PC OS • A high school diploma Bonus, but not required: • Knowledgable in Chief Architecture, Studio Designer, and/or Homestyler • Hand Rendering skills • Knowledge in photography • Knowledge in website construction
