Design / Customer Service

The position of a PDG Graphic Design/Customer Service Rep. requires working with customer on phone and in person on daily tasks and projects, and interacting with customers, vendors, and suppliers. Principle Duties and Responsibilities • Understands workflow at PDG and a primary contact for PDG Customers. • Knowledge of all mailing software and postal processes to ensure workflow is done efficiently and accurately, including EDDM’s • Operate and train on all equipment at PDG, including digital, DTG, and wide format equipment • Knowledge of outside vendors, and a reliable contact when outsourcing jobs • Knows and observes all safety rules, and also follows Employee Handbook of policies and procedures, and directs PDG employees of these practices • Consults with PDG Customers regarding creative direction and can answer and directly employees about artwork, pricing, expectations, and workflow • Work as part of team and promotes team atmosphere at PDG and throughout all our companies • Work hours are typically Monday through Friday working as necessary to make sure work is complete. Reports to Sales Manager directly but works with other managers in the company as necessary. • Must have regular access to automobile and a clean driving record • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills • Can not be color blind must be able to identify various colors of ink and paper • Must have the full use of both hands • Must have vision correctable to 20/20 • Must be able to read a ruler • Must be able to add, subtract, divide and multiply including fractions and decimals • Should not have allergies to dust or any printing process inputs • Must perform any additional duties delegated by management • Must be able to work extended periods of time sitting in a chair using a pinting device while viewing a monitor • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds • Must be able to work safely and responsibly with sharp edges (e.g. X-acto blades)
