Design I

The Design I is an entry-level creative role within our Design Department, supporting the development of performance apparel for Fishing and Hunting categories. Reporting directly to a Senior Designer, this individual will contribute to the seasonal design process — from initial concept through production handoff — while also providing essential administrative and organizational support to keep the design pipeline running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career designer with a passion for the outdoors and technical apparel to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced product team. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.0–2 years of professional experience in apparel design; internship experience in performance or outdoor apparel is strongly valued.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; comfort with InDesign a plus.Experience with or exposure to PLM or product management systems.Experience with AI enabled design and workflows.Familiarity with tech pack development or equivalent.Understanding of garment construction, pattern-making fundamentals, and performance fabrication.Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.Experience with or exposure to PLM or product management systems.Basic understanding of the retail and wholesale product development calendar.COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES
