Design & Illustration Intern (Graphic Design | Canva)

Internship Responsibilities • Design journal and planner pages using Canva and Adobe Photoshop≥ • Develop storytelling-based layouts that visually communicate themes and emotions • Create hand-drawn / handwritten / illustrated elements (digital or scanned) • Work closely with the founder to discuss design themes, concepts, and ideas • Maintain clean layouts, typography, spacing, and alignment • Deliver print-ready and digital-ready files without pixel loss • Export files in correct formats with proper resolution • Meet deadlines consistently and provide regular progress updates Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Canva • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop • Journal & Planner Page Design (daily, weekly, monthly layouts) • Layout design and composition (margins, grids, spacing) • Typography and font pairing for readability and aesthetics • Color theory, color grading, and theme-based design • Storytelling-based visual design • Ability to create hand-drawn, handwritten, or illustrated elements • Understanding of print design standards (DPI, bleed, margins, CMYK/RGB) • Exporting files in print-ready and digital-ready formats (PDF, PNG, JPG) • Attention to detail, creativity, and time management Preferred (Good to Have) • Experience designing journals, planners, stationery, or notebooks • Illustration or painting skills (digital or manual) • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator • Knowledge of print production basics Who Can Apply • Students or freshers from Design / Fine Arts / Creative fields • Self-taught designers with a strong portfolio • Candidates who can start immediately Perks & Opportunities • Certificate of Internship • Letter of Recommendation (based on performance) • Portfolio-worthy creative projects • Opportunity to work with a global India–US brand • Performance-based conversion to full-time role • Long-term collaboration opportunity
