Design Manager

NEW ROLE
We are partnered with an family based company recognized and established in the fire protection and life safety industry who is actively looking to add a proven Design Manager to their growing team! They have a great reputation and believe strongly in supporting the growth of their employees and are dedicated to maintaining an outstanding work culture.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage four designers
Run weekly design meetings
Assign designers to tasks, set job scopes
Assist and/or run any pre‑design meetings on projects
Hand off jobs to the Installation Department
Improve efficiencies with design and job flows
Oversee new technologies/systems for design/project drawings

Qualifications

Nicet level 3 or higher, level 4 preferred (special hazard Nicet is a bonus)
Experience in the fire alarm industry, including Siemens alarm product
Willing to relocate; the job is on site
Ability to be organized and lead a team of designers
