Job Description We are Cause Lab: incubators, problem-solvers, and design thinkers. The position is for a full time independent contractor and operates on a hybrid schedule, based in New York City. A successful applicant has:1-3 years of experience working in marketing, advertising, or communications, either at an agency or in-houseComfort working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced client facing roleExtensive experience with industry standard creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, web design and motion graphicsAbility to translate complex ideas into compelling concepts and designsAbility to think creatively and strategicallyA desire to work collaboratively on projects and understands the needs of the stakeholders and organization Ability to work through ambiguity and deliver results, ask good questions, and take initiative to deliver high-quality work on-timeEnjoys partnering with colleagues at all levels of the organization Permanent work authorization in the U.S. – we are unable to sponsor any visasSpanish-speaking applicants are highly encouraged to applyEveryday tasks include:Creating graphic designs and campaigns for out of home, print and digital and advertisementsCopywriting, messaging, and creating the written structure for campaign identitiesCreate design concepts and mockups of advertisementsContent creation for out of home and digital campaignsManaging client relationships and daily administrative tasks to ensure the day-to-day operations at Cause Lab run smoothlyAssistance with media buying and planningCoordinating and executing client activations and on-the ground eventsAdditional duties as neededFreelance Independent Contractor, Sept 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027 with the option to extend.The working schedule for this position is 40 hours per week. Cause Lab operates on a hybrid schedule, working in-person at our New York City office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remotely on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. each working day.
