Design Specialist

Role Description The Design Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, KY. Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design and graphics to create visually compelling presentations and design boards.Ability to conduct design-focused research to understand trends, materials, and customer preferences.Knowledge of architecture principles to support space planning, layout, and functional design decisions.Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools to produce accurate drawings, floor plans, and room renderings.Strong visual merchandising sense and attention to detail in color, texture, and proportion.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and translate client needs into design solutions.Ability to work on-site, collaborate with store teams, and manage multiple projects in a retail environment.Relevant education or training in interior design, architecture, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in residential interior design, retail design services, or home furnishings is a plus.
