Designer

The Designer is an integral member of the Communications Department, working closely with internal and external Creative Directors on a wide range of projects including but not limited to the ongoing maturation of the visual identity, design supporting exhibitions and programs, publications, website and digital initiatives, marketing and social media assets, and online publishing platforms. The position will advance the role of design at the Museum as the organization continues to expand its reach to national and international audiences, and to build and sustain public interest, awareness, and support for its mission. • 5+ years professional design experience with an emphasis on print and digital design; or comparable mix of education and experience. • The ability to work collaboratively with others including external creatives, designers and contractors. • Experience in print design standards as well as the press and production process.
