Designer and Print Technician

-Conceptualize, design and build production files for a wide variety of materials including: packaging, in-house materials, brochures, flyers/posters, promotion material, merchandise design, point-of-purchase, logos, etc. -Design customer files from scratch -Receive, manipulate, and process customer’s digital files to make ready for printing -Troubleshoot complex file issues & find solutions to prevent future errors -Communicate concerns to customers via phone and email while assisting and educating them on preparing files for printing -Create print-ready PDF’s for proofing, imposition, and production -Integrate new ideas for packaging, printing, displays, signage, print media, and updated equipment. -Remain current on latest technologies and software tools What are we looking for? -An EXPERT with knowledge of all Adobe platforms and print processes -Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop - proficiency REQUIRED -Knowledge of PDF files, postscript files, advanced layer techniques and Xerox RIP Software -Knowledge of digital print production techniques and materials -At least 2 years of on the job Graphic Design experience -Strong multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills -Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment -Ability to work independently as well as with a team
