You will take a senior role and serve as a key collaborator in the development of signage within aviation and transportation environments. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with complex, multi-phased way finding and signage projects. This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.ResponsibilitiesUse expertise in graphic design, experience design principles, and best practices to develop creative concepts which integrate messaging, color, imagery, and type into three-dimensional built solutionsManage complex projects with simultaneous deadlinesConduct presentations and facilitate client meetingsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to produce cohesive and effective way finding and signage.Provide direction and guidance to junior staff to enhance their development and growthFollow through on coordination items, anticipate, and communicate how changes and development impact the project holisticallyTranslate design concepts into detailed and accurate design intent drawings, message schedules, sign location plans, and specifications.Manage project schedules, deadlines, and budgetsAssist with the construction administration process to ensure design intent.Independently produce elevations, sections, diagrams, and 3D renderings.Provide product research, considering design, budget, and constructabilityQualifications7-12 years’ experienceBachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture or related fieldProven ability to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detailExcellent time management and project management skillsDemonstrate effective leadership skills and development of junior staffProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), CADtools Plug-In, and PC/Windows platform.
