Designer for Social Good - Pyramid Communications

The design specialist will: \\- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to take projects from concept to completion \\- Participate in brainstorms and meetings, effectively communicating ideas and work to project teams and clients \\- Work as part of a small design team, mentoring and encouraging each other \\- Continually build skills and share knowledge of cutting edge work with the broader Pyramid team \\- Report to Pyramid’s Design Director YOU HAVE… We recognize there are many paths and ways to grow into a career. Some of the skills and experience that would help you succeed in this role include: \\- Three to five years of visual design experience (agency and nonprofit client experience preferred) in web design, brand and graphic design, motion graphics, and illustration \\- A strong aesthetic sense with knowledge of color, layout, typography, as well as user-interface design principles and standards \\- High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite \\- Experience in designing for web and mobile \\- Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail \\- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to confidently and successfully present creative concepts and rationales to internal teams and clients \\- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a project load that works across a wide range of clients and issue areas \\- Proven experience working in collaborative teams PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED: \\- Experience in print production and collateral design \\- Experience using AfterEffects, Adobe XD, and/or Figma \\- Experience designing infographics, data visualizations and other information-rich materials ABOUT PYRAMID Pyramid is a team of creative strategists helping people make positive change.
