Position: Experience Designer - HARGROVE Position OverviewAn Experience Designer will be responsible for conceiving human-centered design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives as outlined by existing and potential clients. This includes assisting with the conceptual development, articulating integrated physical and digital experience design solutions, and ensuring successful execution of creative deliverables. This position will collaborate and partner with the Creative Director and report to the Group Creative Director.Key Job Responsibilities Creative DevelopmentConceptualize high-quality, medium-complexity experiences and environmental design across multiple channels with a working understanding of how elements function together as part of the integrated customer journey.Partner with senior experience designers and creative leads to develop concepts and strategies to translate business priorities into creative output.Deliver integrated experiential concepts as directed that solve problems for clients and add value to their brand experiences and events.Participate in internal creative presentations to internal stakeholders, effectively representing concepts and solutions to influence sell-through to clients.Uphold the highest creative standards, always striving to ensure the highest quality.Ability to visualize concepts using various tools and methods such as 3D modeling/rendering, developing control drawings, photo compositing, mood boards, story boards, and written treatments.Mid-level ability with tools such as Autodesk 3d Studio MAX with Vray workflow, Adobe Creative Cloud is required.Industry KnowledgeShare examples of design excellence with the Creative department.Assist in providing consultation as a design expert for all Encore & Hargrove work.Maintain close understanding of the industry, watching existing trends and forecasting design direction to keep content design current and innovative.Learn and grow technical understanding and abilities as new methods are created and new software launches.Project ManagementManage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting, and collaborating with a cross-discipline team of creatives, including video directors, scenic designers, creative directors, presentation designers, copywriters, creative technologists, and social strategists.Adhere to standard operating procedures for artwork deliverables, content organization and scope of work development.Organize and maintain workstation to ensure efficient operation; organize and back up files as appropriate.Communicate to various internal parties regarding progress of projects.Take responsibility for on-time, on-budget delivery of all projects.Job QualificationsBFA/BS degree in environmental design, architecture, graphic design or related field3+ years of design and creative experience with working knowledge of creative and strategic disciplinesA portfolio demonstrating integrated and experiential design across a range of different mediumsHands-on knowledge of environmental design, branding, trade show, or human-centered design disciplinesDemonstrated end-to-end ability to take designs from concept to executionExperienced working within a larger creative team and collaborating with multidisciplinary teamsWorking proficiency in 3d Studio MAX, Vray, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Keynote or similar programsElevated project management skillsEffective communication skills, both written and oralA positive approach to teamwork and problem solvingCompetenciesDeliver World Class ServiceHospitalityOwnershipDo The Right ThingDemonstrates Self-AwarenessDrive ResultsEnsures AccountabilitySee The Big PictureDecision QualityManages ComplexityValue PeopleCollaboratesWork EnvironmentOffice.
