Designer I

We use in-house talent, expertise and resources to plan, design, engineer, manage, conduct maintenance on and construct projects. JOB TITLE: Designer I DEPARTMENT: Engineering REPORTS TO: Engineering Supervisor or Lead Designer CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt The Designer will work as a competent member of the drafting team, contributing to daily assigned tasks as directed by the Drafting Supervisor. • Draft redlines from planners • Process survey drawings into base maps • Create circuit and vicinity maps • Utilize AutoCAD or AUD to create and modify drawings • Learn and stay up-to-date with company specific drafting standards and practices • Work a regular 40-hour workweek, with OT as required • All other duties as assigned Note: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
