Company Description Sherrill + Partners + Architects (SP Arch Inc.) is an established architectural firm founded in 2003 by partners with extensive experience in architecture, planning, inspection, and interior design. The firm has delivered hundreds of projects in the Baltimore metropolitan area and across multiple states, including Virginia, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, and New Jersey. As an African American, woman-owned practice licensed in Maryland and NCARB-certified, SP Arch Inc. can obtain licensure nationwide and holds multiple minority- and woman-owned certifications at state and federal levels. Responsibilities include developing design drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials; preparing construction documents; and assisting with code research, coordination, and specification support. Professional experience in architectural design, including concept development, schematic design, and design development for a range of project types.Proficiency in architectural drafting and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office).Knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, and documentation practices, with the ability to support coordination with engineering disciplines.Experience or strong interest in historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and projects in urban or sensitive contexts.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; progress toward professional licensure is preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to project teams, consultants, and clients.Eligibility to work on-site in Baltimore, MD, and to visit local project sites as needed.
