Custom Framing Designer / Marketing Assistant
‪Description: The District Gallery & Framery, a fine art gallery and high-end custom framing shop with over 25 years in the industry in Knoxville, TN, seeks to hire a full-time Custom Framing Designer / Marketing Assistant. Our frame shop focuses on creative display solutions, so the successful candidate will be excited to add an artistic element to the team, and be willing to think outside the box.

Qualifications & Duties:

The custom framing designer will work with interior designers, artists and clients to bring their framing visions to life. Learning our inventory and attention to every detail is a must.

The ideal candidate for this position would be:

A visually creative person
Visual art or interior design background
A people person
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly detail-oriented
Basic math skills
Hands-on person
Enthusiastic & energetic
Able to independently manage special projects
Retail experience
Computer Skills: Photoshop, Wordpress a plus

The Graphic Designer element of this position will be to assist in aspects surrounding marketing, PR, design, print, website and photo production. This position will contribute to the overall enhancement of our brand by bringing ideas and creativity to each project we are working on.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday

Preferred one or more years experience in custom framing design or art gallery sales but willing to train the right candidate with a creative background.
