Custom Framing Designer / Marketing Assistant ‪Description: The District Gallery & Framery, a fine art gallery and high-end custom framing shop with over 25 years in the industry in Knoxville, TN, seeks to hire a full-time Custom Framing Designer / Marketing Assistant. The custom framing designer will work with interior designers, artists and clients to bring their framing visions to life. A visually creative person Visual art or interior design background A people person Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly detail-oriented Basic math skills Hands-on person Enthusiastic & energetic Able to independently manage special projects Retail experience Computer Skills: Photoshop, Wordpress a plus The Graphic Designer element of this position will be to assist in aspects surrounding marketing, PR, design, print, website and photo production. Preferred one or more years experience in custom framing design or art gallery sales but willing to train the right candidate with a creative background.
