The Graphic Design Coordinator position will report to the Creative Director and assist in designing high-quality creative that adheres to the Detroit Lions brand and standards. This includes assets for social media, digital, game presentation, traditional and digital marketing and other design needs for the Detroit Lions, Ford Field, and Ford Field Events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The Graphic Design Coordinator position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:Design and execute various branded digital and print projects not limited to digital/social graphics, LED signage, email marketing, print and traditional out of home marketing,Ability to create a scope of work and manage project plans with timelines and understanding of prioritizing resources and tasksNONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position. Such responsibilities shall be incorporated into the position description if they are ongoing.Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a teamMaintain professionalism when communicating with internal and external contactsMust be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlinesMust be detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsWill adjust work schedule to meet departmental demandsWill keep appropriate information confidentialQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentMust provide a link or an attachment to portfolio to be consideredPortfolio should demonstrate an elevated sense of design, color, and typography and an adherence or understanding of brand guidelinesMust have previous experience as a Graphic Design intern or in a Graphic Design positionAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent written and verbal communications and attention to detailSuperior organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projectsSelf-starter; ability to multi-task in a highly energetic and fast-paced environmentExperience with photography is not required, but highly regardedPossess a working knowledge of and passion for football is highly regardedExperience working in the sports industry is highly regardedA valid Driver's License and a good driving recordMaintains a professional demeanor and appearanceExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to professionally communicate with all levels of staff, management, coaches, players and vendors.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as club schedule directs
