Responsible for the weekly publication (including layout and graphic design) of The Compass (current community e-news); monthly publication of The Navigator (Alumni and Friends targeted), the Annual Report and Voyager Magazine - Spring Edition; seeks, manages, and writes content for aforementioned publications; writes and submits press releases; manages all aspects of forward-facing website including updates per established calendar and links to MyVoyager; maintains consistent look and feel within Island School brand on graphic design projects for campaigns, events, and other school documents and presentations; assists with communications needs of Advancement, Head of School, and Division Heads; assist with overall team functions and events. Further, must know how to use publications software; familiarity with development office operations and with computer programs related to development work, such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, power point, Google suite, and relational databases. Island School is an independent, college-preparatory school for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
