DMF Youth seeks a development/communication assistant with background in the non-profit sector to help with development, research, grant writing, and strategic planning for small, NYC-based nonprofit. Assistant will work closely with the executive director to identify and manage potential grant makers and help create long term strategic plan for donor acquisition, corporate partnerships, and fundraising campaigns. • Excellent writing skills • Experience in nonprofit sector a plus DMF Youth is one of the few afterschool organizations that builds Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and life skill development directly into the curriculum, giving at-risk students the tools they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.
