The Digital Marketing Designer is a key member of the creative team and supports the development of high-quality digital creative across multiple marketing and communication channels. This role is responsible for designing visually engaging, brand-aligned, and user-focused assets for websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, and other online platforms. This position helps strengthen the organization’s digital presence by creating consistent, polished, and effective design solutions that support marketing campaigns, audience engagement, brand awareness, and business goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and produce digital creative for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, digital ads, presentations, and other marketing channelsTranslate creative briefs, campaign concepts, and content needs into polished digital assetsSupport website design updates, page enhancements, and ongoing visual consistency across digital platformsDesign email templates and campaign creative that support promotional, engagement, membership, fundraising, sales, or brand objectivesApply digital design best practices to create clear, accessible, and engaging visual experiencesCollaborate with marketing, communications, creative, and cross-functional partners to develop digital assets aligned with campaign and organizational goalsSupport user experience improvements across web, email, and other digital touchpointsEnsure digital designs are consistent with brand standards, usability expectations, accessibility guidelines, and platform requirementsAssist with design implementation across content management systems, email platforms, and other digital toolsContribute creative ideas for motion graphics, video elements, animation, photography, and interactive content as neededSupport digital content planning by developing design concepts for social media, web, email, and campaign initiativesParticipate in regular reviews of digital channels to identify opportunities for design improvement, testing, and creative innovationPartner with marketing and analytics teams to review performance insights and apply learnings to future creative workOrganize, manage, and maintain digital files, templates, design assets, and content librariesManage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detailPerform other related duties and creative support assignments as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, visual communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered2–4+ years of professional digital design experience, preferably in an agency, nonprofit, corporate, or in-house creative environmentStrong portfolio demonstrating digital design work across web, email, social media, and campaign creativeExperience designing digital assets that support marketing, promotional, brand, sales, engagement, or communication objectivesStrong understanding of digital design principles, web design, email design, and UI/UX best practicesExperience designing and maintaining websites using WordPress, Elementor, or similar web platformsExperience with email marketing platforms, marketing automation tools, or CRM-connected campaign systems preferredProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere ProFamiliarity with Figma or similar collaborative design tools preferredMotion graphics, video, photography, or animation experience is a plusExperience with project management platforms such as Wrike, Monday.com, Asana, or similar tools is preferredStrong organizational, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to take creative direction and translate it into audience-appropriate digital designsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environmentAbility to occasionally work evenings, weekends, holidays, or special events as neededAbility to perform light physical tasks, including occasional lifting, carrying, moving, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 15–20 poundsValid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within required timeframe, if business needs require local travel or operation of company vehiclesSuccessful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements
