The person in this role will help develop compelling content that enhances our brand voice and aligns with the company’s strategy and mission to create a community of return customers and fans. Develops ideas for compelling content that adhere to required branding and style guidelines • Engages with industry thought-leaders to build long-standing relationships and identify opportunities with content contribution, share-ability, and link- building • Works with agencies to create a digital brand communications strategy and content plan, including blogging, social media, sponsored content, web content and digital ad messaging • Develops and produces high-quality, informative, and interesting content, including thought leadership editorial, contributed articles, press releases, blog posts, videos, presentations and other related materials for websites, blogs, social media channels, industry publications and other third-party channels • Ensures implementation of marketing strategies in line with goals for products or services • Growing new leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers) • Developing content strategies and campaigns based on keyword research • Analyzing marketing and sales data to develop insights and making recommendations on areas for optimization to meet revenue targets • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications Specific skills and tasks: • Manage social media including Facebook, and Instagram (content creation, schedule, engagement, creative direction, etc.) • Engage with other brands/accounts/influencers as needed to grow brand. • Create content on our retail website • Work with the graphic design team to develop relevant campaigns and promotions • Market research and implementation of new ideas • Interest or experience in jewelry, fashion or art is a plus • Excellent time management and organizational skills a must. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting and content creation skills, listening, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Proficient with Google Analytics a plus • Knowledge of Industry Best Practices and Trends • Confident presentation skills and attention to detail • Leadership skills, emotional intelligence, integrity, fairness, and business judgement • Excellent client relations skills • Ability to work in deadline-oriented environment • Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player • Working with internal groups to ensure all tactical elements related to campaigns are executed properly • Highly organized and able to multi-task and pivot quickly based on tasks and organization needs • Confident demeanor and ability to persuade and have a strong point of view • Ability to think critically and be able to fill in gaps when not all the information is clearly defined • Self- starter who is not afraid to ask hard questions • Love working with great people and a fun team Experience: 1+ years of Content Marketing experience in a B2C industry with experience developing new strategies and managing content for digital marketing and social media channels CMS experience a plus CRM experience a plus Bachelor’s degree required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1-month trial/probation period Please submit a cover letter and resume along with demonstrated social media management experience which may include a portfolio or active social media accounts you manage.
