Digital Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist

FireBoard Labs, a Kansas City technology and electronics manufacturing company specializing in cloud-connected temperature monitoring and control, is hiring a Digital Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist to support our creative, digital marketing, and e-commerce initiatives. From our Kansas City headquarters, we design, market, and manufacture our products in-house, providing a unique environment where marketing and creative work are closely connected to the products and the people who build them.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine strong visual design skills with digital marketing and e-commerce experience. The position will directly contribute to FireBoard's marketing strategy through graphic design, website and e-commerce management, email marketing, social media, digital campaigns, product launches, and other brand initiatives.

The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between creative work and the analytical side of marketing and identifying opportunities for improvement.

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and tech-savvy marketer who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and working in a fast-moving, small-team environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Proven graphic design experience with a strong understanding of core design fundamentals
Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce, including managing or updating an e-commerce website
Understanding of e-commerce fundamentals, including conversion, merchandising, promotions, and the online customer journey
Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign development
Familiarity with Google Analytics, digital advertising platforms, and marketing performance reporting
Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices
Motivated self-starter who can take ownership of projects, manage multiple priorities, and complete design and marketing projects efficiently
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other marketing team members, departments, and senior management
Experience managing outside vendors for marketing collateral, including print materials, signage, promotional products, and branded merchandise
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team and taking projects from concept through execution

Bonus Qualifications

Photography and photo editing
Videography, video editing, and Adobe Premiere
Marketing automation and customer segmentation experience
Experience analyzing e-commerce KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, customer acquisition cost, and return on ad spend
Trade show planning and/or exhibiting
Experience marketing consumer technology, electronics, or physical products

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
