Digital Media and Design SpecialistLocation: MCIU, 2 West Lafayette Street, Norristown, PA 19401.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 hours/day, 12 months (260 - 262 days/year)Annual Salary: $27.41/hour - $32.25/hour (PS2)ResponsibilitiesProvides operational support for digital communications, website systems, accessibility implementation, design services, and communication infrastructureManage website operations, updates, and digital structureSupport website migration and digital communication projectsImplement accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance practicesOversee internal and external website usability and organizational communicationDesign graphics, publications, reports, and organizational materialsSupport survey development, reporting, and communication workflowsDevelop templates and standards for accessible communicationsProvide digital design and production support across organizational initiativesQualificationsBS Degree Strongly preferredMinimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in appropriate field preferredExperienced with desktop publishing and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)Proficiency in web content management systems and understanding of web design/development principlesSkills in photography, video recording, and editing software (e.g. Canva, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop).Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, SEO, and email marketing.Professional performance and ethical behavior in public relations following industry standards.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to develop strategic marketing plans and campaigns that align with organizational goals.Competence in using analytics tools to measure and report on campaign success and website performance.Superior communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required.Ability to work as a member of a team, follow directions, and follow through with completed assigned tasks with minimal supervision.Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions.Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and read and understand highly technical documents.Valid driver's license and safe driving record without major traffic violations; travel to school buildings as required.Original certificates of clearance from the State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI.The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring on the basis of race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, or disability.How to ApplyApplications can be submitted online u.org/careers (Job ).
