Digital Media Coordinator

Messiah Lutheran Church seeks a part-time (10 hrs./week) Digital Media Coordinator to develop and execute digital communication and social media strategies in partnership with the church leadership to increase awareness of the church, enhance engagement, grow audience base, and promote content and programs of Messiah Lutheran Church. The Digital Media Coordinator will oversee strategy and content for the congregation's websites, social media channels, and visual worship media. This includes writing and developing engaging, relevant content on the congregation's social media channels – primarily Facebook – and in its weekly digital newsletter, The Northern Highlights. The Digital Media Coordinator is also responsible for developing social media best practices, tracking metrics, and monitoring relevant conversations. Other duties include developing creative media content for worship and offering actionable recommendations to maximize and increase the congregation's digital visibility.
