Digital Press Operator

Job Title: Digital Press Operator Job Type: Long-term Temporary Location: Madison, WI Wage: $14.00 Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: • Qualifications: Ability to set-up and run a minimum of two different press types • Set up press in accordance with GSP and industry specifications • Make press adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met • Meet or exceed print efficiency standards • Monitor Digital Press Assistant for adherence to procedures • Communicate technical issues or problems to Digital Manager or Production Managers • Complete daily & weekly paperwork as required • Strong grasp of GSP’s workflow, processes and procedures • Complete maintenance logs and report press downtime as required • Maintain cleanliness of press & press area, performing basic machine maintenance • Ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics and colorspace • Cross train in a minimum of one other area • Work in other areas as needed Qualifications • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail • Ability to manage large workload, while producing quality work in a fast- paced environment with interruptions and deadlines • Knowledgeable in basic math, fractions and percentage • Ability to communicate (read, speak, write, understand) in English • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs • Available for weekend work shifts & overtime as needed • Safety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe manner • Ability to work alone and under minimal supervision • Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects Let our Employment Specialists get to work to finding the right job for you.
