Digital Print/Design Guru full-time position for busy Commercial Sign company in Boise, Idaho. This is a "TEAM" player position; solo acts need not apply. While design will be a part of what you do, it won't be all you do. Willing to grow with the company Responsibilities included but not limited to: · Assist in shop management and schedule shop processes and installations · Handle print projects from start to finish · Coordinate on- site survey with clients as needed · Submit layouts for project approval · Install vinyl on a ladder or scaffolding · Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates · Load media, inks and generate quality prints · Load and use a cold pressure laminator · Assist in managing and operating the shop as needed · Manage work order documentation · Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs · Able to multi-task Qualifications and Experience · Previous experience in graphic design with a sign company or other related field · Knowledge of design and photo-editing software · Diligent, not easily discouraged; driven · Organized, clean · People person · Comfortable with scissors, X-acto knife, light power tools · Strong work ethic and character · Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate and analyze problems and proactively determine alternate solutions · Comfortable installing on a ladder, scaffolding or low to the ground · Well-versed in Adobe suite · Strong creative eye with a foundational understanding of art files, branding, color · Highly organized, along with project management skills. · Detail-oriented with the ability to discern subtle differences in fonts, design and detail · Strong computer skills, very well versed in Microsoft Office · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels of the organization · Friendly with a can-do attitude, with the ability to maintain effective business relationships · Must be a self-starter who can work well with change, uncertainty, and ambiguity as well as identifying business improvement areas and greater efficiencies · Customer service focus and passion · Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, tolerate ambiguity and maintain professionalism with both co-workers and clients · Ability to travel on occasion · Respectful of management; ability to hear constructive criticism and make corrections This is a full-time, hourly position, 40 hours weekly Monday through Friday with an occasional overnight and/or overtime.
