Digital Print Operator with Graphic Design Background

Do you have a love for printing and a Graphic Design background? A Digital Printing Operator is an individual who has experience in operating and troubleshooting large digital printing, wide format, and cut vinyl machines and equipment. You will also be responsible for preparing files for digital printing, wide-format printing, and cut vinyl. Wide format printing- For this type of printing you must be familiar with wide-format machines to be able to print products such as banners, full color decals, etc. • An awareness of the competitive business environment in which they work • The ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions • Following policies and procedures is a MUST • Common sense Necessary Qualifications: • Excellent time management and organizational skills • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment • Printing; understanding issues; identifying solutions; recommending action • Knowledge and understanding of major software programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Flexi, and Fiery Command Workstation • Willingness and capability to learn new software • Capable of basic troubleshooting of software and maintenance of printing equipment • Ability to function as a team member as well as individually Responsibilities: • Responsible for Printing and Producing jobs and ensure materials are available to perform the jobs.
