Our client, an established and growing leader in the trade show exhibit and experiential marketing industry, is seeking a Director of Graphics to lead and scale its graphics operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully managed teams across multiple locations and built the processes, structure, and accountability needed to support a growing organization.
The Director of Graphics will oversee geographically dispersed graphics and production teams, including coordination with the company's print facility in Tijuana, Mexico. A major focus will be creating greater consistency and collaboration across locations while improving the workflows and processes that drive quality, efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop geographically dispersed graphics and production teams, creating strong communication, accountability, and consistency across locations.
Build and improve scalable processes and workflows to support continued company growth.
Oversee graphics from file preparation and pre-press through printing, finishing, quality control, and delivery.
Identify recurring operational issues and implement sustainable solutions that reduce errors, reprints, waste, and missed deadlines.
Develop managers and establish clear performance expectations across the graphics organization.
Partner with Project Management, Design, Production, and Operations to improve execution.
Manage print facility and vendor relationships and take ownership of complex production and client escalations.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in large-format graphics, print production, pre-press, exhibit graphics, or a related field.
5+ years of leadership experience managing graphics or production teams.
Proven success managing teams across multiple locations.
Experience developing and implementing processes within a fast-growing or rapidly changing organization.
Strong knowledge of large-format printing, color management, pre-press, finishing, and multiple substrates.
Strong operational leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
