Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a creative and strategic Director of Learning Experience & Visual Design to elevate the visual design strategy for our innovative educational offerings, which include professional learning, curriculum, coaching, and classroom materials that motivate educators and engage students worldwide.
This role requires a unique combination of strategic brand leadership and exceptional design expertise across both print and digital channels.
Your Responsibilities:
Design Strategy & Brand Stewardship: Enhance and maintain a cohesive visual brand identity for FranklinCovey Education across all educational materials and platforms. Hands-On Design Execution: Personally create impactful curriculum layouts, workbooks, facilitator guides, coaching materials, slides, infographics, and various classroom resources. External Collaboration: Build and manage a network of external creatives to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of high-quality design work. Project Management: Oversee the full design project lifecycle, from scoping and design to production and delivery, ensuring high efficiency and organization. Innovation: Stay informed about design trends and educational design best practices, continuously seeking improvements to design processes and fostering a culture of creativity. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, fine art, marketing, education, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in a design leadership role, with the ability to execute hands-on design. A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work. Preferred Skills:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and design tools like Figma. Experience in building and maintaining brand systems across varied formats. Solid understanding of print production techniques and materials. Proven ability to manage vendors and collaborate with production teams. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A focus on accessibility and inclusive design standards. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
