This role could be based in the cities noted, but any location where DLR Group has an office will be considered.Position SummaryAs an Experiential Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in bringing environments to life through creative, immersive design. This role also supports project management and business development efforts within our Experiential Graphic Design (XGD) Studio.What You Will DoDevelop creative, strategic design solutions for experiential graphics, wayfinding, signage, branded environments, exhibits, and placemakingLead and support the design process from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and fabrication budgetsConduct user research and wayfinding analysis to inform planning and design decisionsManage project schedules, deliverables, and client communication to meet quality, scope, and profitability targetsCoordinate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to execute complex, multi-phase projectsContribute to business development efforts, including RFP responses, proposal development, and interviewsServe as the client lead on selected projects, delivering outstanding design outcomes on time and within budgetRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Experiential Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field5–10 years of relevant professional experience in experiential graphic design, wayfinding, signage systems, branded environments, or related fieldsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and other industry tools (familiarity with SignAgent is a plus)Strong knowledge of:Design principles and production techniques for graphics and signageBuilding materials and construction methods relevant to signage and environmental graphicsBusiness development processes, marketing strategy, and client engagementMedia and communication strategies for visual storytellingPreferred QualificationsExperience managing complex design projects from concept through fabricationStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative ideation skillsExceptional time management, organizational, and communication abilitiesA track record of contributing to award-winning workAbility to travel for client meetings and site visits as neededOur comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
