Drafter/Graphic Designer

Hoskinson Contracting is looking for a drafter/graphic designer to support our in house design and marketing team. Duties/Responsibilities: • Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create full-scale and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from an architect’s rough drawings • Studies building codes and regulations and determines how they will affect architectural designs • Organizes structural, electrical, and mechanical designs • Draws plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on instructions provided by engineers and architects • Visits jobsites to gather data needed to complete designs • Determines the types of materials needed and calculates the quantity to be ordered • Working with an architect, generates costs estimates, contracts, and other documents required for individual projects • Design marketing materials, including brochures, posters, banners, and advertisements • Develop visually engaging digital and print assets for various projects • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency in design across all materials • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and constraints • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on design objectives and deadlines • Performs other duties as assigned If I am hired, I understand that either HBT or I can terminate my employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause and without prior notice.
