The right person will eventually show us they are capable of owning a large part of our online sales and product management, and ideally help us grow the business to where this is a stand-alone department. We adapt their best ideas in to our strategy \\- Trial and error experiments to see what works \\- Awareness of what’s not listed or visible for sale \\- Work is verified 99% accurate before presented to CEO and management \\- Able to step in to “customer shoes” with fresh eyes to view listings, imagery, and descriptions and make relevant adjustments \\- Maintain various marketplace promotions \\- Find and understand new tools \\- Ability to highlight a product’s best features and downplay any weaknesses BEHAVIOR / MENTALITY / ATTITUDE \\- Flexibility when balancing multiple changing priorities \\- Comfort with receiving and managing demands from multiple supervisors \\- Concise, meaningful, and thoughtful communication \\- Awareness when something shifts on a market (i.e. a drop in sales) and have the curiosity to dig deeper and problem solve \\- Immaculate attention to detail but not to the point of limiting productivity \\- Comfortable making mistakes and learning from them \\- Ability to recognize when a task could benefit from automation, a different tool, or process \\- Ability to retain a lot of verbal information and instruction. Able to think on their feet and take excellent notes, speak up and pause the conversation if it is not making sense and to ask clarifying questions \\- Willingness and tenacity to disagree with CEO or managers and offer compelling reasons for a different perspective, without taking it personally if your ideas are not utilized \\- Where knowledge is lacking, there is strong curiosity \\- Efficiency: Ability to self-prioritize and recognize where the biggest bang for the buck is in terms of time commitment. \\- Asks questions if something doesn’t make sense \\- Good time management habits and reporting realistic project completion times based on high expectations \\- Quality results are expected without the need for micromanagement \\- Interest in taking ownership of processes \\- To learn and understand our product lines in detail FUTURE GROWTH \\- With time, achieve a deep understanding of each marketplace ecosystem in order to maximize product exposure and encourage growth and sales. \\- To want this to be a career and know that improved compensation, longevity, personal and professional growth, and promotions are all possible should you thrive and succeed in this position.
