About the Position... • Design, layout and production for multiple print products, including lifestyle magazines, travel guides and marketing materials, as well as other miscellaneous print and digital pieces, working closely with our Art Director to ensure design work is up to company standards • Work with templates, styles, grids and other tools to create clean and consistent layouts • Work closely with the Content and Photography teams to plan the visual direction of the products and secure available and appropriate imagery • Coordinate editorial changes with content team; make layout adjustments with great attention to detail • Support client relationships by ensuring execution of client needs and objectives • Create press-ready files for printing, according to vendor specifications • Complete tasks as assigned by Creative Director We’re Journal Communications Inc. in Franklin, Tenn., with two main divisions – Livability Media and Farm Flavor Media.
